Privacy Policy

Welcome to Rawash Store. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, share, and protect your data when you visit or interact with our website.

1. Who We Are

We are Rawash Store, an online store offering carefully selected products to customers in Oman.

2. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public in the context of your comment.

3. Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract this data from uploaded images.

4. Cookies

When you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience and last for one year.

When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set cookies to save your login details and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be saved in your browser. It contains no personal data—only the post ID—and expires after one day.

5. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content—especially if you are logged into that site.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments and their metadata are stored indefinitely to help us recognize and approve future comments automatically.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal data at any time (except for the username). Site administrators can also access and edit this information.

8. Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments on our site, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold. This excludes any data we are legally required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

9. Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
